Neve ParitzkiJerusalem's first cycle tunnel has been open in Israel

The Kerem Tunnel allows for a the most unique riding and hiking experience.
In the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route, which surrounds the capital, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.

Elkin declared that the Kerem Tunnel project was a key tool in realizing the goal of changing the concept for transportation throughout Jerusalem. The works currently underway include road construction, installation of blowers, as well as advanced safety and electrical systems to ensure the tunnel is safe for pedestrians to travel through at all times of the year.

The Kerem Tunnel also allows access to special recreation areas - including the Ein Kerem neighborhood, the biblical zoo, aquarium and the as well as the historic natural springs of Ein Laban and Ein Haniyeh.
