The environmental group ADEGA was founded in 1979, when environmental problems were affecting the city. Adega Ourense of the ADEGA Ourense delegation took action in this regard, citing 112 teletips that mentioned the avivaring of owls in the town of Teixadal de Casaio. Adega Ourense are requesting explanations from the Conselleria of Medio Rural, as well as information on the forest's current state.
ADEGA-Ourense is a group of concerned citizens. The group claims that the Conselleria de Medio Rural agents hid information from them concerning the Valdeorras forest, and owl avivaring has taken place in the neighboring town of Carballeda de Valdeorras. ADEGA is demanding answers and information from the Conselleria of Medio Rural. This action could be harmful for the environment and the local population.
