It's always astonishing to admire an amazing Minecraft build. Although Minecraft isn’t a game about inheriting some mysterious weapon that changes shape and then attacking the evil fridges however, it does give an extremely limited description of Control. This is an extremely useful comparison, as we're going to be looking at this Control-inspired Minecraft build.
Reddit user Ominous_Hippopotamus who is also our favorite handle, shared an video of a toughcore base they've been working on inspired by The Oldest House from Control. The Oldest House is a strange and wonderful place, filled with bizarre trinkets, weapons and beings from other worlds. The entire place can be described as unsettling, and the video that Ominous Hippopotamus put up of their base captures that wonderfully.
While we only get a brief glimpse of this base, it feels real. The open atrium with the welcoming plant life greets the viewer to begin but once they turn a corner the video shows unsettling geometry jutting out and twisting space.
It's an amazing recreation of the area and, even though it's unlikely to feature the Hiss floating around and causing havoc, it's another solid reminder of how much love and attention goes into so many of the buildings you encounter in Minecraft. It's evident that a lot of effort and time was put into making it look authentic. The lighting is particularly attractive.
It's this same attention to detail that players employ to create items such as the Ghostbusters theme tune based on Redstone or a data pack that allows you to play with Breath of the Wild abilities. minecraft servers are my thing We're not sure if it's the same love that turns bees into Steve.
