Constraining RF-EMF Exposure throughout Children
When your child is under the age of 10 and you are concerned about their exposure to radiofrequency radiation. If so, read on to find out about the risks and advantages of limiting exposure RF radiation. It's important to keep your child's health at the forefront, and a small change in lifestyle can make a difference.

RF exposures in children
The Dutch ABCD Study and the Spanish INMA Project comprised two children and their parents. The study population collected information regarding the use of screens devices and estimated the total RF-EMF exposures. These exposure amounts were determined by a combination exposure algorithm that took into account all the factors that could affect the child's exposure. The participants also completed rigorous cognitive tests that were validated to assess the IQ of non-verbal and verbal, working memory, attention tasks as well as cold executive function. visuomotor coordination, and processing speed.

The study measured the ambient RF-EMF exposure of 529 children across five European countries. The exposure levels recorded in the children were 87.5 MHz up to six GHz. Children wore small, portable "experimenters" that monitored their exposures while playing outdoors and playing with handheld devices. They were also required to fill out questionnaires and activity journals to record how much time they spent using their mobile devices.

Overall exposure to RF-EMF was extremely low, ranging from 0.13 percent to 0.92% in the range of ICNIRP's reference level per second. Participants of the study were less likely to be using mobile phones than adults, with the majority of them not using their phones for more than five minutes in the afternoon time.

The FCC established limits for the RF radiation level that children must be exposed to in daily life. But, Proteck'd Apparel was set in the past 25 years, and the FCC must take into account the latest research in science and revise its limits to safeguard children's health. The limits of exposure to RF should be lower than federal limits, which is 0.4 mg/kg.

Children's exposure to radiofrequency radiation is mostly based on their abdominal and torso. In the ICNIRP guidelines should specify the limits of exposure for various body parts of children. They should also release a safety margin for each area. This is not the only data to be considered in the study.
