Describe three strengths you feel you have in this subject area.
My attention to detail is a strength that really helps in both physics and math. Especially during long calculations, being able to keep track of many multiple parts of a problem is essential. Meticulousness may not be the most flashy strength, but it has helped me through many problems. Another strength that helps me is my ability to visualize key concepts. In physics, many of the concepts we learned about were theoretical, so coming up with examples that were more applicable to real life definitely helped. This also helped in calculus, where I at first struggled to understand integration. Imagining derivation and integration as processes that affected position, velocity, and acceleration of various objects helped me understand the mathematical procedures more easily. Finally, I believe that I learn quickly. I think that this strength allowed me to understand many of the calculus and physics concepts quickly. I loved how the calculus concepts we were learning also applied to physics, so understanding one quickly impacted my understanding of the other.
