Minecraft Education Edition is coming to the iPad and teachers will be able to be able to play it from next month. Microsoft claims that there are 35 million registered users on Minecraft's education edition. "Minecraft: Education Edition on iPad opens up new and intuitive ways of collaboration and sharing and has transformed the way our students and teachers explore curriculum and projects," Kyriakos Koursaris, head of education technology for PaRK International School, said in a statement. Koursaris stated that the features enable deep meaningful learning and the values it advocates, such as inclusion and 21st century skills, enable everyone to use technology to achieve extraordinary results.

Microsoft announced today that the Chemistry Resource Pack for Minecraft: Education Edition will be available to Minecraft players running Windows 10 PC or Xbox. It lets players create elements, combine them into compounds, create periodic tables, and design items such as balloons, sparklers and underwater torches by combining chemistry.
