Since everyone knows that Minecraft's made a cool $33 million to date, Notch has taken it on himself to, in true rock star fashion make it rain. In a series of Tweets this morning, Notch revealed that Minecraft beta update 1.5 will include precipitation in the game, which could result in gameplay changes such as watering crops, setting off fires or filling small holes with water and the wolves being soaked. https://yurock.net/ Also, "Moistening Wolves" is the full name of our new, indie noise-rock band.
Notch also included an image showing the weather effects at two biomes bordering each other. This is a glimpse into a fantasy world where distinct rain systems get together and be friends. We contacted our local meteorologist to find out whether this was a real phenomenon that could occur in real life, and he was exploding.
