Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

"It is so thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019." stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country month after month. It's a great positive shift that we are very happy about and expect an upward trend for many months to follow."

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May has seen more than 600,000.
