The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest bicycle tunnel, has been inaugurated as part of an extensive cycle path that circles the capital.

The tunnel is located through the Nahal-Refaim-Emek-Motza route. Its southern entrance is located in Refaim Park, below Ein Laban, and the northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem, about one kilometer away from the Kerem junction.

The work currently in progress includes road construction, installation of blowers, as well as advanced safety and electrical systems to ensure the tunnel is safe for pedestrians to travel through all year round.
