Neve ParitzkiJerusalem is home to the first tunnel for bicycles in Israel.

The Kerem Tunnel is a great place to ride and hike.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel was opened as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle path that runs around Jerusalem, the capital city.

It connects Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי is within Refaim Park under Ein Laban. The northern entrance, Nahal Ein Kerem, is about half a kilometer away from the Nahal Ein Kerem junction.

The opening ceremony of the tunnel which measures 2.1 kilometers long took place in Jerusalem and the Heritage Minister Ze'ev Elkin, Mayor Moshelion and Avi Baleshnikov (Gihon water company chairman) as well as a plethora of cyclists.

נווה פריצקי was a reason why it was a popular tourist attraction in the past. Elkin said that apart from its historic treasures and modern amenities, tourism has also been included in Jerusalem's city. The current works include road construction, installation of blowers and advanced safety and electrical systems to ensure the tunnel is safe for the public to pass through at all times of the year.

Kerem Tunnel Kerem Tunnel allows for access to unique recreation areas, for instance Ein Kerem, a neighborhood which includes a Biblical aquarium and zoo, as well as ancient natural springs Ein Haniyeh and Ein Laban.
