Minecraft Legends rewrites the rules of Minecraft to allow you to join with enemies in a "fairytale" action strategy game spin on what is undoubtedly one of the best Sandbox games of all time. In a developer preview with PCGamesN at Gamescom the team behind Minecraft Legends RTS explains some of the important information that players will get when the game arrives in 2023.



Minecraft Legends is a strategy game - but one where the player takes on the role of a hero throughout the world. You'll be the commander of your troops and lead your troops from the front. Minecraft Legends features a main campaign mode that has multiple difficulty settings and versus options and a variety of challenges that players can complete. There will also be an online marketplace.



There are a variety of heroes to pick from, but these are only cosmetic. All players will use the same sword, and there are no other classes or weapons. Instead the focus is on making friends who will assist you gather materials as well as building up and managing your base structures. This is all in the service of aiding you in your fight against the Nether World forces that have enslaved the Overworld with their hordes of piglins.
