Sebelum mengetahui Apa tugas kedua para Juara, harus memecahkan petunjuk dalam telur itu, telur tersebut harus dibuka didalam air agar dapat mendengar petunjuk (Karena jika dibuka di Udara Telur tersebut melolong). Petunjuk Dalam Telur berupa nyanyian berlirik sebagai berikut :

Kami telah mengambil yang kau sayangi,
Satu jam penuh kau harus mencari,
Tetapi selewat satu jam – tak ada lagi harapan,
Terlambat sudah, yang telah pergi, tak mungkin kembali “
Pemecahannya adalah Masing-Masing Juara akan menyelamatkan sandera di bawah danau, berupa orang yang mereka sayang. Sandera-Sandera yang terpilih pada saat itu adalah :

•Hermione Granger, Sandera Viktor Krum
•Gabrielle, Sandera Fleur Delacour
•Ronald Weasley, Sandera Harry Potter
°Tugas Ketiga
Tugas ketiga adalah Mengambil Piala Triwizard didalam Taman Labirin yang telah diisi berbagai macam rintangan Seperti Makhluk gaib,dan Satwa Gaib. Pencarian ini dilaksanakan malam hari. Ditengah Labirin berisi Piala Triwizard, barang siapa yang terlebih dulu menyentuh Piala dialah pemenangnya.
Pemenang Turnamen Triwizard berhak medapatkan hadiah uang tunai Sebesar 1000 Galleon.
