Siang itu Jono sedang berjalan jalan menikmati hari pertamanya di bulan puasa. Ia bosan dan tak tahan dengan ibunya yang selalu mengoceh. Di tengah jalan ia melihat warung makan yang menyediakan es kelapa muda. Tapi apa daya Jono tak membawa uang dan dia juga sedang berpuasa. Sekali lagi yang namanya hawa nafsu pasti susah dilawan. Jono akhirnya diam diam mencuri kelapa muda itu dan membawanya ke balik semak semak. Membuka kelapa mudanya dan meminumnya hingga habis. Namun bukan dahaga sirna yang ia dapat melainkan rasa bersalah karena telah mencuri dan melanggar puasanya. Sehingga Jono merenung dan memutuskan pulang.
