The biggest mistake we make is when we believe that there is complete alignment in each other's expectations, without ever trying to understand the expectations of our partner. Humans are divided into two categories. Some of us fall into the "full-circle" category that is a person that can be completely independent and doesn't feel that he needs a partner. However, he'll never be able survive without the right companion. He will continue living his life side by side with the person he is going to marry once he finds one.
The other aspect of humanity is made up of "half-a-circle" kinds (not to be confused with "half-a-circle") (no, it's not full circles that have been damaged during the delivery) (see below) ... Yes, they need an accomplice, yes, they want a partner badly, indeed, they are constantly and almost religious search for a partner... and yes, it's on the same scale for national security for them to find their perfect partner since they just cannot survive without one. The "half-a-circle" type , however, will redefine what it means to have the same chemistry as their partners. They will say that they're 'holding onto this B..ST..RD until they are able to replace him with an upgraded version.

Imagine a dance in which a half-a-circle and a full circle are trying to make their partner happy. But, the half is able to move two steps ahead of the comfortable zone. This unexpected invasion into his personal space is slightly intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. He took the Half out of his comfortable zone . Although the Half believes that the Full was innocent and made a error, and graciously compensated by taking another step forward, the Half gets more worried and starts to get angry. The Full and the Half know why but lack proper terminology. They can't properly explain their feelings, so they search for the wrong things. They could have saved their own lives by being aware that one is Half and the other one is Full.
Although there isn't a single conclusion, there are options you could do.
