The biggest error we make is always believing that there is complete alignment in expectations on both sides. We don't try to get inside the thoughts of our partner to figure out what his expectations are. One thing that we are completely in agreement with our partner on and he doesn't hesitate to miss the chance to increase the gap in expectations. .... There are many potential causes of miscommunication. Most are due to personality differences. Squared personalities are more likely than those with liberal personalities to be misinformed, while aggressive personalities might have trouble getting their expectations in line with passive. Humans can be divided into two categories. Some people are 'full-circle', which is a self-contained person who feels completely at home by himself. He's in need of a partner. Absolutely! 100% true! ... But, he won't be able to survive without a suitable partner. When he has found the one he wants, he would like to continue living his life, by his side with his hopefully complete circle of a partner.

Others are those who are "half-acircle" kind of people. They will not let go of the savage creature after they have found it. To form the illusion of a happy circle, they will try to integrate their victim physically. The Halves aren't willing to sacrifice anything other than staring at each other from a distance of zero for the rest of their lives. It's impossible for them to be more intimate than that.
An interesting distinction between the two types relates to the decision to leave the person you are with. The whole circle is likely to let go of a partner who is losing their chemistry quickly. The 'half-a-circle' types are, however, will redefine the definition of having chemistry mutually with their partner as 'I'm holding on to this B..ST..RD, , until I am able to replace him using a suitable upgrade'.
Imagine a dance where a half-a-circle and a full circle are trying to make their partner feel happy. But, the Half is able to make two steps to the left of the comfortable zone. The unexpected intrusion into his private space can be somewhat scary. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. He forced the Half out of his comfortable zone . Even though the Half assumes that the Full was innocent and made a wrong move, and he graciously compensated by taking another step forward, the Half becomes more concerned and begins to feel irritated. They don't know why but they lack proper terminology and can't explain it. So they go to the wrong place. If they only knew that one of them is half and the other is Full it could have saved their lives ...
