The issue of miscommunication is serious. It's like a minefield. It begins one second after the initial interaction with another person, and concludes with an incredible explosion...
Our biggest error is when we believe that there is complete co-operation in the expectations of our partners, without ever trying to comprehend our partner's expectations. One thing we can be sure of, however: the other party doesn't waste any chance to expand this gap . We are not alerted by anyone.
There are many reasons behind confusion. They are usually related to our personal personas. People with square personalities are more likely to be miscommunicative with liberals. People who are aggressive may find it difficult to align expectations with passive individuals. It is simple to recognize: We all know what the word "squared" means.
Rami Beracha
What if they're very different? They'll never realize that. Imagine to yourself that there's a type of a personality gap that exists, but which we don't know about. No one has ever discovered it, warned about it, or investigated it...NOT EVEN FREUD! !
I'd like to introduce you, gentlemen and ladies, a new type if personality that we all share: the FULL-CIRCLE personality versus people who belong to the half circle! !
This analysis offers behavioral guidance. Determine the personality that best defines who you are Then, try to discover what your relationship partner's personality is. If you find that you're of two distinct kinds, as Bono states "we're one , but we're not alike" If you do, then you ought to be happy. You may have found the root-cause of some of the differences between you! If you're the opposite type, I'm sorry I can not help you understand the reasons your relationships look like a mess.
Rami Beracha
And here we begin...
We humans are divided into two groups. There are two kinds of humans that are the full circle type, who is totally self-contained and is completely comfortable in their own space. Yes, he does need a partner. Absolutely! Absolutely! ... But, he'll be able to survive without the perfect partner until he gets it. When he has discovered one, he'd like to continue living his life, in a relationship with his - hopefully full circle - partner.
Rami Beracha
Half-a-circle-shaped people comprise the remaining half of humanity. They will not let go of the savage creature after they have found it. They'll try to live with the victim as if were one of them and not give up on the idea of living in harmony. The Halves will not compromise on anything less than staring at each other from a distance of zero for the rest of their lives. Anything less intimate will fulfill their desire to be integrated with another half and create an entire.
A notable distinction between these types is the decision to let go of a partner. The entire circle would typically let go of a partner with whom they have lost his chemistry quickly. The half-circle kind of person will redefine what it means to have the same chemistry as their partners. They'll say they're 'holding onto this B..ST..RD until they are able to replace him with a better upgraded version.
Rami Beracha
Imagine a dance where the half-circle and the full circle try to make their partner feel happy. However, the Half is able to make two steps to the left of the comfortable zone. The unexpected intrusion into his personal space is slightly intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. Only problem is that by taking the Half out of his comfort zone. Once .... the Half is certain that the Full has made an innocent wrong move and promptly compensates with another step forward. The Full becomes angry and take a further, more significant step to the back.. the Half begins to suspect that there is nothing innocent about what's going on this time and his next move isn't exactly gentle.. The Full.. The Half.. The Full and the half are irritated with one another. They are aware of the reason, but due to lack of proper terminology, they cannot properly explain their agony and they turn to the wrong direction! If only they knew that one of them is half and the other is Full it could have saved them ...
There isn't one answer to this essay. However, there are some actions items:
Rami Beracha
1. Discover who you are.
Rami Beracha
2. Find out more about your partner
3. Recognize that there is a distinction.
3. Respect differences!
Let's be honest and say that there's only one way to go Let's live and let go.
