Rami Beracha believes there are numerous investment opportunities in the Coronavirus economy

Take your time when choosing the dream you wish to pursue. Making sure you're choosing the right business is among the most crucial steps to ensure success. Rami Beracha’s advice to students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his personal experience. Rami, a young male, decided to pursue law school. He was unsure which was the best path but he continued his law education, obtained a Master's Degree in New York, then worked in an overseas law firm. After his time at the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was more passionate about business more than law. He quit his job to go to France to pursue an MBA.

Following her graduation from the college, in 1996, Beracha began working at the Pitango Venture Capital Fund the largest venture capital investment fund. Pitango is focused on companies that are in the early stages of developing core areas in high tech and has received more than 200 investments from investors and exited over 85 companies so far. Rami became managing partner of Pitango in 2000. He was the lead in many deals that resulted in successful exits for fortune 500 companies such as Broadcom and Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.

He didn't stop there. Globes honored Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner", recognizing him for his work as a major investor. Rami initiated a new project called Sosa in the year 2014. Sosa operates innovation centers located in New York City and Tel Aviv which provide support to high-tech businesses looking to collaborate with entrepreneurs from around the world keen to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently elected to manage and build New York City's Cyber Center.

Rami Beracha believes there are always new opportunities. Even though the past few years have been difficult economically since the coronavirus's emergence but he is convinced that there are numerous opportunities. Beracha is currently working on a few new projects. Beracha together with a handful of business partners, recently established an London Blockchain Venture Capital Investment Fund. After helping in the development of Israel as a major hub for high-tech in the world, Beracha is ready to expand to a larger market. Beracha's vision for business was revealed in the investment fund. Beracha plans to create an Middle East venture capital fund along with the European fund. Beracha believes now is the best time to invest in Arab markets, particularly following the recent announcement of the Abraham Accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is an ideal starting point, because it is a wealthy city and modern. The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will join Israeli and European Investors to support UAE high tech companies in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and robotics. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. Due to its low corporate taxes and favorable laws numerous companies will be attracted to it in the next few years.

While Rami Beracha appears to have succeeded in every endeavor he has set his mind on, his path was not easy. As with many Israelis, Beracha joined the army as a young man. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and fought through The Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue team which assisted wounded soldiers in the minefield. It was the year 1983. Rami however, fell onto a mine that was hidden beneath his feet, and suffered a severe injured.
The time he spent in rehabilitation hospital was among the most challenging times of his life. He was in a state of disarray and unable to move, and eventually was stricken with depression and despair. The dreams of becoming an officer in the army did not materialize and he lost all sense of self. Rami found the strength to live and dream again through the pain. Rami set out to be more productive and stronger than prior to the injuries. Rami tried out different extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing, snowboarding, and has even hiked Mount Kilimanjaro. He's always striving to improve his abilities and is feeling like his former unwounded self is driving him forward.

Rami is a volunteer and gives to many organizations. He is passionate about helping the next generation of combat wounded soldiers. In 2016 Rami led the group of men who suffered injuries during their military service in a trip to Nepal. In 2018 , he was awarded the rank of major in the paratrooper and fire brigades within the Israeli military. In spite of the difficulties he faced, his dreams were realized as a young man. His passion and life story can be a source of inspiration for others. Rami didn't allow his injuries to stop him from exploring new ideas and he became stronger each day.
