Anyone who has used a custom-weighted mouse with 20,000 DPI knows that communication is vital in multiplayer games. To that end, AMD is aiming to make it easier to communicate when using a microphone while playing. AMD Noise Suppression can intelligently use the background noise on your graphics card to block out any noises from your environment like air conditioners, or your personal speakers. This new power can be used to say "gee gee GTFO" or similar phrases.
The new system is a competitor to Nvidia's RTX Voice feature (now part of the Nvidia Broadcast suite), accomplishing more or less the same thing. The AMD Noise Suppression feature isn't limited to gaming-related communications, despite its association with gaming and the use of the Ryzen 5500+ CPU or Radeon RX 6600+ GPU. MINECRAFT SERVERS Once it's enabled in the driver it'll work with any application that relies on voice input, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Discord and the other one that no one seems to remember.
Also included in the Adrenalin 22.7.1 driver update are some notable OpenGL improvements, which AMD claims will improve performance in games like Minecraft by up to 90 percent for some RX 6000 cards. Radeon Super Resolution (the older standard rather than the more impressive FSR 2) now works on more notebooks with discrete RX cards of 5000 and 6000 in hybrid graphic setups and also works in fullscreen mode that is borderless.
