Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Indicators From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and august. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before.


Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, "It's so exciting to again see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, and already exceeding or even surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record breaking numbers of tourists entering the country every month. It's a fantastic positive shift that we are pleased to witness and anticipate an upward trajectory for many months to be."
