This Minecraft Build is Fully Functional Wordle

Someone has created an Minecraft version of Wordle, which is an astounding feat when you consider it. Wordle has been a major element of the morning routines of many throughout the last year, so it was only natural that someone would attempt to build it using Minecraft. The amount of effort put into creating something like this, however, is awe-inspiring.



Reddit user, urgle_gurgle with who has a great name, has not only made a working Wordle in Minecraft but also explained how it was done and uploaded it to Curseforge. You can download it and have an attempt at it.



While we see a lot of amazing creations in Minecraft's world, the talent and ability required to create this one makes it stand out. Urgle_gurgle explains that they used word checking using "a array of math to assign all words to an unique number (in base26), which will then be stored in an execute if score command with a python script".



The other major challenge is the requirement for a daily word. While the idea is easy to understand, it's not as simple for a computer, and especially not one that you need to sync with a timezone. Redditor has found a way to accomplish this, just as the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park. They were able to get it all working by creating a brand new word that you can use whenever you play the game.
