Welcome To Minecraft Festival

You know that feeling right before the guests arrive at your spectacular house party? You've spent hours polishing the place, changing outfits half a dozen times ("does this cape go with my mood and my complexion?") cutting perfectly cube-shaped pieces of cake, and digging through your floordrobe for the first time in many years ("look there are wooden blocks down here!") It's almost time, and you engage the doorbell in a contest to see who is the most gruesome hoping that it won't sound until everything is perfect.



We're pretty much there at the moment, but on a slightly larger scale and extended timeline! It's only February, but we're already working round the clock to get ready for Minecraft Festival at the end of September. Perhaps that sounds overzealous, but remember - our version of house parties will be a full-on Minecraft experience that will attract thousands of people, with interactive exhibits, inclusive gaming and fiercely competitive tournaments intense live entertainment with exclusive merchandise, creative-inspiring panels and the chance to meet your favorite content creator or Mojang's developer. And it will run for three days. We do have a few things in our minds!



Let me talk to you about the things we're planning for you, in the rush of pounding and scribbling with pen, and the exploding of Creepers. Just another wordpress site Minecraft Festival is a party where you are the guest of honor! It's an opportunity to celebrate the epic adventure we've shared over the last 10 years, as well as a sneak peek at the next chapter. Mojang will bring all Minecraft games (many are playable! Mojang will present all Minecraft games (many playable! ), and exhibitors across the world will show off what they've been working on.



Remember MINECON Live Do you too? The worldwide live show featuring all the biggest Minecraft news? We've even squeezed that into Minecraft Festival! The event's live stream is now called Minecraft Live and remains the place for epic announcements, thrilling excitement, and deep dives into the history, present and future of Minecraft. We'll stream it live, directly from Minecraft Festival. And who knows, one lucky festival attendees might get a seat in the studio audience!



Are we missing something? Creepers? No, I didn't mention them. Canapes? Nope. Not that kind of celebration. Capes! Ah, yes, capes! Every participant will receive an exclusive Minecraft Festival cape, compatible with both Java and Bedrock.



Mojang's Chief Brand Officer Lydia Winters says, "Everyone is invited!" "We consider Minecraft Festival as a place to meet, hang out with and learn from other gamers - all within an interactive environment packed with exciting experiences and opportunities to discover."



That's great however, let's be more specific! First, jot down the dates September 25-27 on your calendar or on a flat surface, since that's when we'll be at the Orange County Convention Center in sunny Florida. There will be plenty of exciting happenings over the three days so plan to make it a long weekend! If not, there'll be the chance to stop by for a single day.
