Weird West is the first game developed by WolfEye, an indie company run by Arkane founder and Dishonored co-creator Raphael Colantonio. It's a mix of Dishonored's immersive simulation mechanics and Diablo-style action-RPG controls. We've been awestruck every time we've seen it. Weird West was originally scheduled to launch in a couple of weeks, but developers have declared that the game will be launched in March at the end of March.

Colantonio writes in a note to his fans "As we played our own game, we realized that it was amazing." "On the other, we realized it wasn't quite perfect yet. The game is being tested in a private beta and they're having a blast. However, we want to work out a few things, because we are committed to delivering the best experience. We have a long history of creating immersive simulations and we all know how great those games can be when it all is put together."
Or as the publisher Devolver Digital puts it, the game "needs some wonky moments that need to be fixed".
Weird West will launch on March 31 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be available on PC Game Pass starting day one.
