Official support for Clans comes to Old School RuneScape. runescape wiki Today's Clans update is among the most anticipated by the game's community of players. It comes with a host of new features as well as official support for the beloved community-based practice. To unveil the new Clans functionality, the Old School RuneScape development team will be hosting a player livestream tomorrow at 5pm BST at http://twitch.tv/oldschoolrs.
Clans enables players to group together and enjoy Old School RuneScape together, while also competing with clans to win exciting end-game content. The latest update is the Clan Hub. The Clan Hub is located inside the Grand Exchange and serves as an important central point for all Clan-related activities such as managing, finding, or forming new clans of up 500 players.
To support both newly forming clans and long-time communities registering their clans in-game Clan menus that are specifically tailored to the clan, a recruitment board, and a host of other useful tools are available to make organising a Clan as easy as is possible. Once you've gathered an entire clan of adventurers you'll be able to assign them dedicated ranks to form an orderly group of players. Clans can opt to use military style ranks or change them to match other RuneScape-related themes such as ore and gem levels. When a clan is established and they'll require a place to kick back - enter the Clan Halls. Halls can be used by clans to serve as an area for private gatherings, however they are also open to guests.
