We are often able to witness incredible things due to the combination of the Minecraft playground and the imagination of its users. Some projects take longer than others. Today's achievement is one Minecraft city which took 2,400 hours to build over 2.5 years. This is an amazing commitment and one of the most impressive Minecraft cities we've ever seen.
This isn't the first time the Minecraft map has been posted on Reddit. The last one was posted in July 2021. "Since my last post the city has almost doubled in size, approximately 11 sq km if you include all the roads and around 40-50sqkm if you consider the land that has been cleared." Below is a video that shows off a portion of the city. You can view it on Redditor.
It's almost like feeling Minecraft struggling to load all of the details and buildings as the player flies around. Roads are also marked with markers. There is even an area that looks like an electric grid. The city is home to more than 22,000 structures. It would make a fantastic map to hide and seek. But it's not available for download.
