The Minecraft Warden patrols the deepest areas of caverns and is the only mob that is blind in the game. What makes the Warden so scary? The Warden can find you even if you don't have sight. If a Warden is in the room in daylight or with a lot of light it will immediately burrow itself and disappear for good. It will also go to the ground after one minute of losing sight of you.

Wardens are shuffled around, reacting to sounds they hear by skulking in their torsos. Because of the darkness that it emits the Wardens may cause lights to flicker when they pass. If you are in close proximity to the Warden and your vision is also affected by this darkness.



If you choose to sneak around the Warden will not notice you as long as you remain still and don't make any sound. To distract the Warden, throw snowballs. He will eventually slip by.

- Easy: 8 hearts per hit - Normal: 15 hearts per hit - Hard: 22.5 hearts per hit



Its attacks can disable Minecraft shields for a time and have a vertical range of up to four blocks. Even if you're wearing Netherite armor, you can be instantly killed when you're playing in hard mode.



If you manage to kill the Warden You'll be awarded only three experience orbs to compensate for your troubles. The block that it's standing on is also a sculk block, and the blocks around it turn into veins of sculk.
