This Minecraft Redstone chicken mini-game is incredibly strange. It's not as though we're unused to seeing strange Redstone devices as we've seen MS Paint being recreated in the game due to it and even things as cool as the Ghostbusters theme song, but it doesn't usually include chickens in the manner of this.
Minecraft generally protects chickens, unless you're building a factory farm in order to provide food. We're not going to judge you for doing this. It's obvious that chickens make adorable Minecraft mob. It's only normal to enjoy watching them navigate through a maze. You'd think that it was cute.
SGHQ posted a video on Reddit called "the machine that makes things happen." We're giving away some of the spoilers in this article since the title certainly promises the viewer to speculate, but it's also a bit of a wild ride. The game begins with the player putting a leash on the chicken, and locking them. They then climb on a lift, and begin to drag the chicken with them.
This that and the other
This is where you can play the mini-game. It's your job to keep the chicken alive, and stop it from being crushed or burned as you move down the course. It looks like fun, and it's nice to see the first chicken making it all the way to the bottom after such a perilous journey. The problem with this contraption is that, even if the chicken makes it to the bottom, two arrows are fired at the chicken. This isn't what we'd be aiming for here.
Maybe if the prize was Minecraft diamonds, it'd make more sense however we'd love to see the chicken live Please. If you are the type of person who wishes to make your chicken immortal then you should check out how Minecraft forge 1.19 is installed.
