The Queue Spikes

We have a number of quick questions today. There are some longer ones, but there are many quickies.

Talking about Gorgrond Where are all the spikes of Blade's Edge Mountains? It was an extraordinary and unique orogeny. Draenor doesn't have the "spikes" and I can't find them on the alphabeta maps. If they're gone like my pools and volcanoes of green lava I can understand...



One of the northern regions of Frostfire Ridge resembles the spiky portions of Blade's Edge, and in actual fact, there are a few spots you can identify having been there in Burning Crusade. The spikes aren't quite as striking. In Burning Crusade, they look like spears protruding from the rock. In Warlords of Draenor they appear like jagged outcrops. The spikes are adorned with more details put into them and are smaller in number. See the image at the top of the post. Spikes are real but they're distinct.



It's possible the spikes we've seen don't exist until Draenor was destroyed. It is possible that Blizzard believed they were nonsense and didn't want them be replicated.

Another question, as I'm full of them today. If I had used my water strider to get to areas that were not finished such as Ashran or Gorgrond, would Blizzard be annoyed If I took screenshots of the area?



You're safe if you reach those places by legal means. There's nothing to worry about if the beta allowed you access to those places. You'll only be in trouble if you've used such a private server/sandbox to reach locations that the servers wouldn't normally allow access to or view.

In WoD we will witness some big characters get together, like Thrall and his father which makes for a fantastic story. As an Alliance player - do you believe Blizzard will allow us to experience a bit of the story between Thrall and Durotan or do I require a Horde toon?



You'll require a Horde character.

What is the problem with Falling Flame I've heard that you only have 1 per account? This is logical considering I have killed Cinderfall numerous times on other toons and never got it. Can anyone confirm this either way?



I'm not certain Blizzard has an account-by-account system for loot drops. It's more likely the item has an extremely low droprate.

Are the Pandaren Monk trainers from Wandering Isle or Pandaria?



I'm convinced that all pandaren NPCs that aren't in Pandaria are from the Wandering Isle. Although we don't know for sure, the NPCs in capital cities are likely to be from the Wandering Isle. The same goes for the ones in the newbie areas. It was the Wandering Isle pandaren that allied with the Alliance/Horde, not the ones from Pandaria.

I haven't played with tradeskills in Warlords yet, but what I've seen so far is weird. It's possible that none of this has been completed. It's surprising that there aren't enough alchemy herbs to make recipes. Many recipes require meat, fish or minerals. There are recipes that use several ingredients, none of which are herbs. If the intention is to, I suppose the garrison will eventually provide all of these items but I don't have a fishing shack or mine on my current character. I'm not able to craft much.
