These are faqs about Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
What do I do when EFT does not work?
When EFT looks like it doesn't work, the problem is not usually EFT but lack of experience using the technique by the consumer. Moreover, in most cases a worry of certainly not having gotten to the heart from the problem. This process is an exploration, sometimes a problem unfolds itself in layers like an onion. You can make this method more successful by thinking about questions like:
What is incorporated in the way of my progress?
What am I not seeing?
What deeper issue have I not found yet?
When EFT relieves pain, will it mask the anguish and thwart the capability for pain to signal danger?

Why wasn't EFT discovered way back when?

Why may be the EFT Setup language centered on the negative?
This bothers many people and bothered me too until I understood it. EFT is not according to positive affirmations, rather its purpose is to get rid with the negative and make method for the positive. It's kind of like redecorating and you've got to clear the old before there is space to the new. One must be aware with the old problem to get eliminate it to make way for a much more positive future.
What's a good method for those a novice to EFT to work with it on themselves?
There is really a free "how to" guide on Dawson Church's EFT Universe website as well as courses available for sale. The free guide lets you know all you need to know to begin. A great way to learn while watching instructional videos is usually to tap along with the people for the recording using your own issues.
How long perform the results last?
The emotional healing that takes place with EFT is normally long-lasting. This is especially true if you're a specific as is possible when you focus around the emotional events you address. If a problem does manage to return it is almost always because there's an element on this issue which was not handled (i.e., the focus with the problem has not been specific enough therefore had not been fully addressed.)
The physical results you may get with EFT are more likely to come back and wish to be addressed again. Many physical problems for example headache, backache, and stomach aches are manifestations of emotional issues. As new emotional issues show up, the anguish can revisit like a reply to the modern emotional issues.
