Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are two fantastic flavors but do they taste good together? One Minecraft player is making an argument for 'yes' with an enormous project to recreate the entire map from Nintendo's latest classic into an accessible Minecraft survival map. The project is still in the process however the results are already impressive.
Reddit user Dinaeh has shared progress shots of the map's topography. It is very like the original. Gaming The WorldPainter tool is being used at 1:2 scale. Dineah plans to collaborate with other creators to design shrines and ruins for the map. Yes an actual version of the game is expected to be released at some point.
Dineah shared detailed photos of the Gerudo Highlands as well as the Hebra Mountains. The latter is easy to recognize. The little grassy clearing in front of the huge, snowy climb toward the encounter with Naydra made a huge impression in Breath of the Wild, and it's equally amazing here, as you can see in the photo above.
