You might be worried about the risks of RF EMF, but there are ways to protect yourself. Wearing clothing made of EMR shielding fabric can shield your body from harmful radiation. These fabrics typically consist of a silver-colored fabric embedded in fine mesh. When the radiation from wireless signals like a cell phone or WI-FI signal hit this material, they cause the electrons within it to eddy echo, or bounce within the material. One of these textiles, known as the Wavestopper(tm) fabric is proven to block 99 percent of harmful radiofrequency radiation.
RF EMF can cause heat to organic matter
RF EMF is an effective source of energy that has the ability to increase the temperature of organic matter. It accomplishes this by changing the polarization of water molecules. The resultant heat can cause deep and superficial burns, cataracts, or general hyperthermia. Although these effects might not be as apparent as the typical EHS symptoms, they are nevertheless significant. Fortunately, the levels of exposure required to cause these effects are not as significant as the effects of high-level exposed to EMF.
An RF-powered antenna of 25 feet long was placed in 620 feet depth. After forty hours of heating with RF, the temperature within the borehole went up from 210 F. This study highlighted the possibility of RF heating as a useful technique for heating the formation. In a later study, Bottazzi et al. (2013) examined the effectiveness of heating with electricity in the downhole condition.
Both of these methods are suitable for heating up organic matter. The method one is to place the material within a high-frequency electromagnetic field. A second approach involves placing an object within the field of an inductor. The electromagnetic field creates electrical currents in the substance, which causes heat to rise in the object. Quantity of heat generated is determined by the resistance of the material to the flow of the currents, as well as the length of the exposure.
While the effects on biological systems of RF EMFs aren't conclusive, studies have shown a possible connection between exposure to EMF from RF in conjunction with EHS symptoms. This connection requires further research to discover whether EMF exposure causes EHS. For instance, it has been established that childhood leukemia can be linked with proximity to electric lines.
RF EMR is comprised of two elements - magnetic and electric. The two components work together to create an electromagnetic field with various strengths. This strength can be measured using specific units. For instance, the electrical fields strength may be determined in the volts per square meter. Magnetic field strength is determined in milliwatts for every square centimeter, and the combined electromagnetic field strength is measured as power density.
The non-ionizing version of EMF has an lower frequency, meaning it is unable to be able to break chemical bonds. However, ionizing radiation is able to break chemical bonds and can cause oxidative damage to the body. Furthermore, it could cause skin changes and tumors in some people. Therefore, prolonged exposure may cause chronic health issues.
The research that shows that exposure to RF EMF may cause EHS is limited. There are however many other studies that show this connection with RF EMF and oxidative stress. While it's not known how long EMF exposure can cause cellular damage, it is important to know what's happening in the body so that you can avoid this issue. It could even affect the function of organs.
emf shield of heat generated by RF EMF can be explained by the polarity of the substances. When the RF energy passes through a compound that is polar, the atomic nuclei and electrons inside the nuclei are moved away from their equilibrium positions. This causes the electrons in the nuclei transform into dipoles inducing. This dipole realignment occurs thousands of times per second. During this process there is friction between the rotating molecules and heat is generated throughout the material.
While RF radiation isn't thought to directly damage DNA, it can create heat in tissues of the body that could cause injuries to tissues or burns. In contrast to ionizing radiation RF radiation is not thought to cause cancer. However, some studies show higher rates of tumors in lab animal models exposed to RF radiation.
There are a variety of federal agencies involved in managing and monitoring the impacts of RF radiation on the human body. They include those of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. They track RF exposure to ensure that it is safe for employees. They also advise employees to limit their exposure to radiation if they are working in environments with high-frequency RF.
