This guide will help you start and will make it easier to complete. For any queries, please feel free to ask them in the comments below and I or someone else shall be available to help you quickly.



Event Location Starts in daemonheim just next to the rewards dealer : Easy-Medium Estimated time; 15-20 minutes Rewards: Salty Claws Hat and Snowman dune emotie Golden Hammer



1. The event's start is just next to the rewards dealer in daemonheim. 2. Thorvar Crittersmash will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the Heimland Games. After you've agreed to help him, he'll give you an item bag and a bucket.



Tips: Make sure to pick up any objects that you find during the event. Otherwise, you might need to do a re-run of some levels.



For instance when Thorvar Crittersmash takes you to the room, you can pick up the snowman accessories from the ground. Then, go to the middle of the room where you will find the cut scene.



The Icicles will light up at once, then they will turn on one at a time in the order specified. You will need to: Repeat the exact sequence that caused the Icicles flashing. You will need to have some kind of memory as the sequences differ for each person. Each time you press the switch, a new sequence will be presented. If you don't have the greatest of memories, an excellent suggestion is to draw a tiny map of the Icicles on the paper and then label them with numbers when the sequence is displayed.



The door leading to the next room will be unlocked once you've completed three successful sequences. When you enter the next room, you notice your character walking on all fours. You can also see on the upper left area of the screen, a small box with alternating red and green colors. Your next task is to do 4. You can sneak your way across the room towards the Angel as its back is turned towards you. Then, touch the Angel when you are within the distance.



On the upper left of the screen, you will observe that a square with two colors, alternating red and green will appear. When green is on, it signifies that the Angel is turning its back on you and it is safe to walk toward it from the north. Red signifies that the Angel can see your face and unless you're hiding behind a blanket or a snowman, it will teleport to the original point of the puzzle. In other words, move north towards then next snow blanket when green is on, and stand still when red is on. Touch the Angel when the right time is available for you to move to the next level.



5. Moving to the next room now you need to pick up the item on the ground, right-click on "Thorvar's bag" and then click on the "use trinklet Thorvar's Bag" to transform it into a seal, and be able to slide across the frozen ground, as it's called.



The process on the ice is fairly simple. You just need to avoid the holes and find your way to the portals that will take you to a different area.

6. Now, your goal is to get through all the doors and reach the next level.



The order of the doors differs for every player. Now it may seem totally random-based, but I've found for myself that I get through doors more frequently from doors I've previously walked through. Keep the track of the doors that worked for you and which did not. This method is not perfect and is likely to work every time. However, I've found my chances of success to be higher than just randomly picking doors. Make sure to pick up any items you see lying around.



Congratulations if you've completed all doors. There is only one more obstacle to overcome before you are able to complete the 2010 xmas event.



The final room to be tackled is fairly easy in comparison to the previous room. Click the button to capture the crab in the Santa hat.



7. Keep a close eye on the holes for fishing on the ice where crabs can appear, and remain near the Ice. When the crab wearing Santa's hat appears then click it as fast as you can.



Now, talk to Thorvar Crittersmash/The person dressed as Santa Claus again. He will be amazed at your courage, and you will find out that he's Santa.



Congratulations! You've now completed the 2010 Christmas event in Runescape. Santa Claus will reward you (see below) as well as invite you to attend the heimland Games, which is a beautiful Christmas-themed place with many more activities.



Rewards: Salty Claws Hat , Snowman dune emote, Golden Hammer. Emotes and Soundtracks that are not available from the event include; Snowman dunes emote, Seasonal sports Soundtrack dramatic point emote and the freeze emote
