The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding which is enjoyed by all.
The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest bicycle tunnel, has been constructed as a part of the 42-kilometer cycle route which is a loop around the capital.

The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי נווה פריצקי The tunnel's southern entrance can be found in Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance can be found in Nahal Ein Kerem about half an hour away from the Kerem junction.

נווה פריצקי On Thursday, Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Zeev Elkin, Mayor Moshelion, Avi Baleshnikov, Gihon chairman and hundreds of cyclists participated in a ceremony to officially open the tunnel's 2.1-kilometer-long length.

Road construction, installation and testing of electrical and safety systems are just a few of the ongoing projects to ensure that the tunnel is secure throughout the year.


The Kerem Tunnel provides access to exclusive recreation spots, including Ein Kerem neighbourhood, the Biblical aquarium and zoo as also the historical natural springs Ein Haniyeh, Ein Laban and Ein Haniyeh.
