NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% growth over 2019.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is our number one destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. נווה פריצקי Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to see this positive change and expect it to continue throughout the months and years to come."
In line with in the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6,600 in August.
Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) said that "it is so exciting to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is growing." "We are not far off our record numbers for 2019 and we anticipate that the growth in the number of travelers to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians continue to feel more comfortable travelling abroad."
