Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are two fantastic drinks but do they taste great together? One Minecraft player is arguing "yes" with a huge project to rebuild the entire map using Nintendo's classic map as an accessible Minecraft survival plan. While it's still in the process, the results are already quite impressive.

Reddit user Dinaeh has been sharing progress shots of the map's topography. It is very similar to the original. The WorldPainter tool is being used at a 1:2 scale. Dineah plans to collaborate with other creators to design shrines and ruin sites for the map. A playable version of the game is planned to be released later on.
Dineah has shared some great photos of both the Gerudo Highlands and Hebra Mountains, and the latter in particular is immediately recognisable. The tiny grassy clearing that appears just prior to the huge snowy climb that leads to the encounter with Naydra created a huge impression in Breath of the Wild. It's just as awesome as it did in the photo above.
