With all the updates, versions of builds, mods, and updates it's hard for us to comprehend how far Minecraft has been able to go. The full game was released all the way back in 2011, but before that, it was in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget how much has changed and gone over the course of that time even if you've never played it since it first came out into the world. This trailer provides a wonderful look at what has changed in the last few years.

This is a fan-created rendition of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted an updated version of Mojang's first big tease and it's fun to watch, especially when you compare it with the original. It follows the same format as the official one but highlights all the new features biomes, features, and biomes that have been added to the game in the last decade.
I have remade the original Minecraft trailer using the Minecraft we have today! from Minecraft
Frankly, it does a much better job of promoting the game due to how much new content has been added. Also, as user LennyTheSpider points out, RedAdventurer11 actually made a purpose of presenting the major updates in order. This section runs for around 58 seconds and features the ice spikes starting at 1.7 the ocean monuments that begin at 1.8, and end-of-the-city fights beginning at 1.9.
It's a wonderful little detail that really helps to build a sense of progression and the length of the video. It's also not something RedAdventurer11 was hoping people would take note of - however, the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. This revitalised trailer is a wonderful piece of nostalgia, and it's hard not to smile when you watch it.
