Minecraft is already a clever game however it could look better, right? There's one weird way people can change things quickly at the moment and that's AI. Because of images from Dall-E which are all over the internet, AI is a big issue right now, so it was only an issue of time before someone gave Minecraft the AI treatment.
Mysticat, who is often found building tanks and shooting friends with them, decided it was time to discover the true potential of Mojang’s Voxel Universe. In their most recent video, they go through a bunch of different AI systems to alter how the game plays and looks. Soundraw is used to create music and sound effects and Craiyon to create textures. You can watch the video for every AI employed, and every small change will add up.
All of these small changes can result in a bizarre outcome. While some blocks, such as dirt, look nice but the PNG images of flowers and the terrifying faces of certain Minecraft mobs are a nightmare. Online Servers The sound effects are especially frightening. Each animal sounds like something you'd expect to hear if the world is smashed by a demon attack.
On the bright side, we're pretty sure this is the only proof anyone needs to know why it's people that should be designing games and not some nebulous AI sites. It's a good thing, because it means the inevitable rise of machines is a long way away, too. However, if Minecraft's Warden ever becomes real and gets out of the game, we're in huge trouble.
