Surgeries: Over the last few decades, surgery has emerged as one of the critical applications of robots, with surgical robots
offering three-dimensional views as well as high-definition and magnification capabilities, making surgeries minimally
invasive, precise, and flexible.
Clinical training: healthcare providers' skills and knowledge are improved with the help of realistic simulation devices.
Pediatric Hal is an example of an AI robot that can mimic a five-year-old child and exhibit symptoms of cardiac arrest and
arrhythmia. It can also make a variety of facial expressions, mimic crying, and simulate rapid breathing, giving healthcare
trainees a true "working under pressure" experience.
Disinfection and sanitation: hospitals are using robots to perform disinfection and sanitation, which could prevent many
diseases caused by poor hygiene and sanitation. UV sterilisation robots, in particular, kill bacteria, viruses, and other
pathogenic microorganisms. The disinfection and sanitation robots segment experienced significant demand as a result of
the Covid-19 pandemic
