Sydney Tenders For North West Rail Link
Sydney Tenders happen to be released for cost planning services, engineering , rail system and architecture services to help you finalise design and operations options delivery of the new North West rail link, a 23-kilometre rail line between Epping and Rouse Hill. The project includes construction of six new stations at Cherrybrook (Franklin Road), Castle Hill, The Hills Centre, Norwest Business Park, Kellyville (Burns Road) and Rouse Hill. The North West rail link will include approximately 3,000 park and ride spaces and bus interchange facilities.

The successful tenderer for engineering, rail systems and architecture services will form an integral part from the North West Rail Link Project Team, providing ongoing technical expertise to be sure the end product meets the requirements commuters along with the community.

"The O'Farrell Government is pressing ahead with the North West Rail Link, this also is yet another help the process of fast-tracking this vital part of infrastructure," Ms Berejiklian said.

"The families as well as the businesses of the North West have waited of sufficient length, so in retrospect the O'Farrell Government is established to provide this rail link as soon as possible," she said.

"The successful tenderer will undertake development design studies like rail

systems, tunnelling assessments, station infrastructure planning, rail safety and risk assessments."

The studies will include a review of all previous design and planning focus on the

project. Further tenders are prepared for masterplanning and urban design services, geotechnical advisory services, geotechnical site investigations and land survey.

"There is overwhelming business and community support for fast-tracking the North West Rail Link," Ms Berejiklian said.

The North West rail link can provide rail access for the first time through the growing North West region to major employment centres in Norwest Business Park, Macquarie Park, St Leonards, Chatswood, North Sydney along with the CBD.

By providing Independent rail transport advisor through to Rouse Hill, the new line will likely support future residential and commercial development in the North West growth centre. The rail link assists a population of 360,000, which is supposed to grow to 485,000 by 2021.

By 2036, the rail link will service an area exceeding 145,000 jobs.

The North West rail link gives residents an improved or trains alternative and greatly reduce the amount of buses on our roads, reduce bus congestion inside Sydney CBD and deliver more reliable public transport travel times from your North West.
