WRUP All DPS Players are Sharks Edition

It's time to expose a truth that many MMO players aren't aware of: All DPS players are sharks. If you're wondering how many DPS seem to be addicted to the sound of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for just an hour means that these players will be dead. They must continue killing and swimming. This is what MMOs are doing to sharks around the world. Don't think about how a shark is able to type or play the game. Just know that a rogue who will not wait for the tank, the healer, or even the other DPS cannot avoid doing what is happening. He's a shark.



One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I cannot confirm or claim it. Maybe he or she will reveal his or his identity in this week's WRUP. Or perhaps it's simply our usual roundup of our plans for the weekend. You won't know until you read further however, you're encouraged to let us know what you're up to in the comments whatever the case.



@Beau_Hindman - I am definitely playing more State of Decay. The game is fantastic and is definitely one of my top favorites for single player games of the year. For MMORPGs I'm experimenting with the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter which I think is among the most beautiful and sounding MMOs available right now.



@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies, so I'll be leveling up some old toons and checking out some Pandaria dungeons that I've never played. It's going to be entertaining!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently occupying my side game slot, and while there are many aspects that I'm still not thrilled with, I am enjoying myself. Beyond that, I've got a lot of Final Fantasy XIV questing and endgame shenanigans that I want to take part in, so that will be my primary focus.



@Sypster: I don't think I have any grand plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the pre-launch countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to play more scenarios in The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids love these days.



@mvmatt: I've got an weekend plan that includes soup, schoolwork and, if I'm lucky some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I quit playing it (and reflect on the amazing things that almost made me stay) before the servers go down in the coming month. Beyond that, I would love to return to Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've been ignoring them for some time. Maybe, just maybe, I could stop some of the fools on Battlefield 4.



@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'm going to check out the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also spend some time returning to World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me all riled again.



@MJ_Guthrie - I'm planning to concentrate most my gaming time (and there will be some, sickness be damned!) I am trying to do more in the Secret World's war on Filth. I am a sucker for the pet and bee suit so badly that I don't know how to collect enough tokens. But I'll try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working, I'll be playing a few scenarios and trying out new builds. I will also spend the weekend deciding which race I will use for my new Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Once I've got this, I will only need about 30 more hours to modify the look. Oh wait, then there is the whole name thing...



@RichieProcopio - This weekend, I'll be intoxicated. I'm not going on a frat party. I'll be visiting the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up too in Kessex Hills. minecraft Oh yeah and Hearthstone!
