Minecraft Pokemon: how to Set up Pixelmon Generations

So, you want to play Pokemon in Minecraft? There's an update that will allow you to do exactly that, so you can catch 'em all in Minecraft's pixel-based world.



Pixelmon Generations is a Pokemon mod you can apply to Minecraft to transform the game into a Pixelated Pokemon paradise. It is possible to find Pokemon in all biomes along your journey, from Bulbasaur to Ditto. These Pokemon can be controlled and captured, or fight with. Pixelmon is a Pokemon-inspired world in Minecraft, so you'll still be able visit shops, gyms, and centers like you do in Pokemon.

Pixelmon download



You will be required to follow these steps to download Pixelmon Generations



1. The first step is to install Minecraft Forge 2. Pixelmon Reforged



You may be curious about Pixelmon Reforged and the differences between Generations and Reforged. Although they're both mods, and Reforged could be downloaded to modify Pokemon into Minecraft as well - they have separate development teams.

So expect the updates and latest versions of each mod to differ. Both versions of the popular Pokemon Mod provide great experiences however Generations has more 7th-gen Pokemon and provides more updates. While Reforged is more user-friendly both versions offer an authentic Pokemon experience.
