We've experienced it firsthand, one of the hardest aspects of being a small team is assisting a lot of customers. That's precisely the problem Mojang was experiencing on a massive scale. specifically the confirmation emails for license orders. emails were being lost:
Prior to moving to Postmark we had a dedicated machine for sending emails, which was basically in the dark because we weren't doing all the tedious work associated with ensuring the delivery of e-mails. As our user base grew so did the number of support tickets for lost receipts of purchases. We knew that something needed to be done.
Time is crucial when you're selling hundreds of copies of your software every hour.
Postmark was one of my favorite features of the service. It took only three minutes to get up and running and has been chewing away since. We now have data about how our transactional e-mails are performing. Minecraftservers.vip We're back to the future!
