Towcester Leisure Centre, run by the South Northants District Council, has welcomed NEW fitness and leisure equipment in 2013. The centre offers a wide variety of gym and exercise classes to suit all ages and abilities. Two new elliptical trainers by Octane combine cardio with strength training. An upcoming addition is a multi-functional smith machine. The consultation will provide information on the best way to brand SNC's leisure offering.
The refurbishment of Towcester Leisure Centre will result in a huge improvement for the centre. It will feature improved amenities and increased usage. During the 2020/21 scheme, a PS1.2 million refurbishment will be carried out. This includes the reception, the gym, changing rooms, studios, pool hall and a range of community spaces. The existing gym will be extended to create a large functional fitness area, with an additional functional rig. The existing gymnasium will be reconfigured to create a modern multi-purpose studio that will host yoga and Pilates classes, as well as act as a meeting room.

Learn More will improve the facilities offered at the leisure centre. The existing spin studio has been extended into an old creche, enabling it to host larger interactive spin classes. The changing areas have also undergone a major transformation, with new lockers, cubicles and sanitary fittings. The pool hall's structural steels have been coated with a waterproofing system to increase its structural durability. The project will include numerous mechanical upgrades to make the facility more energy efficient.
