We stay at the resorts on the beach, which are always friendly and family-oriented. Jayakarta is one of our favorites. We have stayed there two times on our trips to Bali. Bali is all about eating, praying, and loving!

Bali is a place where you must bargain. You'll be surprised at the price if you ask for it. You can bargain, but the Balinese expect it. I'm not going into the deep about the 'art of bargaining', but these things are important: keep smiling, determine your maximum amount that your willing to pay, explore more shops then just one, try walking away (because they might give you a much lower price) and last but not least; enjoy it!
