Dear Thalia,
Hope you're doing well. This is really random, but you do remember how we got to know each other more while asking questions? I want to bring that back. So my first question is: How do you envision the future? The good, the bad, just everything. I know I've asked this before but I want to see if it's changed from the last time I asked you. Mine hasn't changed a bit. Which honestly, I find kind of weird.
Is it bad that you're still someone I hope to see in my future? I don't think you know, but you've made a huge impact on my life. Not as just someone who liked me back at one point, but as someone I can trust. I know it's weird. I said I didn't trust you. Cried a lot because of you. Felt hurt because of you. I went through a lot of different emotions because of you. Yet, I trust you. Weird, I know. But once again you gave me the nickname weirdo.
I trust you 바보. And that confuses me. Why do I trust you? I know you don't trust me. Is it that I trust you because I want you to trust me? No matter what it is, I just want to be there for you. Someone you can talk to. I'll just listen. You know why? Because I know how good it can feel to have someone to just listen. To not question your intent or your reaction. Just being heard can mean a lot.
I get that feeling from you. It literally feels like something out of a book. When I'm with you I literally feel like I can be me. I've said that before to you but don't just think I said that because I liked you. I really do feel at peace when I'm with you. I know I shouldn't but I do. You really made me happy and really were the reason to a lot of my smiles.
I want to thank you for that. You really made me realize how love feels without expectations. It feels free. It feels like an escape from the reality of expectations. You were my escape. You were the one that acknowledged me for me. Just Alice. You were just you and I was just me. I loved you because you made me feel like me. I loved you because you were you. You made me realize that I could be happy with just myself. That I wasn't a disappointment. That I was better off being me than pretending not to be to please everyone around me. You. It was always you. And I hope it'll always be you that pops up when I'm down. That smile of yours, my favorite. That laugh, contagious. Those eyes, mesmerizing. Everything about you, lovely. You were the world. And honestly you still are. I don't like to admit it but I still go to you when stuff comes up. It's because you have this feeling of comfort in which there are no expectations of how I should feel in a certain situation. You just listen and say what you think is needed to be said. Yes, we argue but with your arguing I feel heard. My thoughts actually means something. I just wanted to thank you for that.
