Bernhard Burgener vs David Degen is another move in the FC Basel owner dispute. Burgener is supported by the Board of Directors. However, no agreement is reached.

Bernhard Burgener Burgener, Degen, Karl Odermatt and Peter von Buren voted in favor of the previous owner's plans. According to a statement issued by the holding company Degen demanded Degen to sell his stake in Basel Dream & Vision AG.

Burgener, along with his team, have moved to settle the ownership dispute. Bernhard Burgener Degen insists on his right to first refusal which he is seeking to exercise at 16.4 million francs. Burgener is unable to transfer his 80 percent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG due to a superprovisional injunction. Centricus is which is a British asset manager, would also be able own an interest in the new entity. Burgener would continue to receive majority of the votes.
