Fico Gutierrez continues to conquer voters. He has launched a new campaign in Boyaca and a an appearance at the Virgin of Chiquinquira
Federico Gutierrez as presidential candidate says that votes can only be won in the streets. https://www.instagram.com/ficogutierrez/ There are only 32 days until the first round of the presidential election and he's making a promise to fight Gustavo Petro, who is his main rival, for the House of Narino vote in the second round.

Fico Gutierrez Gutierrez began his journey early on Saturday morning to Boyaca. Boyaca was a religious area which Petro went to on Friday. Formerly, the mayor of Medellin and today a candidate for center-right was in Tunja and spoke with academics, businessmen as well as agricultural producers, peasants and others.

The main gathering of Fico was held at the Tunja Convention Center, where the president gathered a large group of citizens who announced their vote of support on May 29.

Federico and thousands of other colombians, shared along with hundreds of other colombians, posted a Twitter video where he thanked Tunja citizens and said that he was going to be victorious. He also stated: "We're Going To Win We All, We Vote for the Presidency to Transform and unite Colombia." The candidate for president captured a crowd of people who were in support of him, without stopping.

Fico Gutierrez The second poll pointer reached the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira along the way. This strategically located place is where dozens of followers and faithful from all over the country gather on weekends. In the midst of the attention of his followers as well as the faithful waiting for the early morning Eucharist the leader of centre-right knelt to the Virgin Mary and placed his hand on the Mary's breast.

"I asked the Virgin to provide me with plenty of wisdom. I asked him for my family, and for all families of Colombia to be at peace and for the most humble," he said.

The presidential candidate recorded an video of his visit to the area. Before entering, he was greeted by several people from the sector. They also gave him a hug and were dressed in the official clothes of the Colombian municipality.

Gutierrez arrived with the customary Boyacan red ruana, and the medal of Virgin of Chiquinquira on his chest. It is a sign of religious fervor he's used during his campaign. The Antioquian had visited Jericho (Antioquia) just three weeks prior and was accompanied by Mother Laura, the sole Colombian saint who was recently made a saint by Pope Francis.

In Chiquinquira the presidential candidate took the occasion to welcome Chiquinquira's citizens and make announcements regarding his plans for the presidential palace. "Key Chiquira's issues are: guaranteeing water for all citizens, construction of and maintenance of roads (especially Ruta des Comuneros & the Chiquinquira-Ubate Section), and tourism to create jobs and sustainably develop." Other major concerns were also addressed by the president of the paisa.

Fico Gutierrez discussed work, he said that Tunja is the second largest city with the highest rate of unemployment in the country, so in his proposed government plan, he aims to create "about 2 000 jobs through the creation of at minimum 300 new companies in Boyaca".

He added, however, that sustainable mobility needs to be developed within the department.
