New world slavery brought with itself several events. this essay would explain from where the bulk of the world's slaves come from prior to 140, the ways in which new slavery was different from previous forms of slavery, why did Europeans went to Africa for slaves, how did most Americans become enslaved, the conditions of the middle passage, the impact of the slave trade in Africa, and the ways in which enslaved Africans positively impacted American culture.

Before 1450 the bulk of the world's slaves were white and came from Eastern Europe. In addition, new world slavery was different from previous forms of slavery in different ways, such as new world slavery was based on race whereas previous episodes of slavery where not. Also, new world slavery gave access to freedom and gave slaves a social status in society despite being theoretically inferior. Finally, slavery as the key labor component, in the new world slavery slaves provided the labor force with a capitalist system of plantation agriculture. Furthermore, Europeans went to Africa for slaves because they discovered that the Africa had an existing system in place and political fragmentation in which Europeans exploited this fragmentation. Moreover, most american became enslave because of the unequal sex ratios. Caribbean just wanted males capable of doing hard work, but as slaves was cheap they what was available, getting al women slaves. For investors was easier making slaves working to death and then get another slaves. As a result, more revolts and many slaves runaway.

Also, the middle passage was the crossing from Africa to America which ships carried their 'cargo' of slaves. The conditions of the middle passage was really bad causing people suffering every kind of disease, and many deaths. Plus, the impact of the slave trade in Africa were several. A massive depopulation and skewed sex ratios it was a weak society because there were no men, destruction of native industry, such as mining, gold and iron, and textiles, and political instability taking steps down on politics. Finally, enslaved Africans positively impacted American cultures in different ways; for instance, American English some words such uh-uh, uh-huh, yam are original from Africa, the cuisine with the rice, deep frying, yam, the music with the jazz, falsetto, banjo, etc, and the religion with the call and response, spirituality.
