How Education Impacted serial entrepreneur Tal Dilian's Life

To encourage growth and development in the society, it's essential to have access to top-quality education.

Tal Dilian founded Atidim and was appointed its CEO in 2000. This non-profit organization provides education support to youths with disabilities.

Atidim is a national program which is operating in Israel that aims to narrow the socio-economic gap and build an open and diverse society. It provides education to underprivileged youngsters in Israel.

Tal Dilian was of the opinion that equal educational opportunities were essential to any country's future. Hence, he co-founded Atidim which translates to "futures" in English.

Students will improve their English, science and math skills and will be able to pass university entrance exams.

To pay tuition, Atidim students receive 40,000 NIS ($12,425 USD) every year. They also have the opportunity to receive a computer, living and housing costs that allow low-income students to complete the requirements for a degree.

Students are taught and exposed to the various career opportunities in high-tech and higher-education institutions.

At first, 90 young talents participated in the Atidim's programming, however the number has increased to 50,000.

Past beneficiaries are now employed in the most advanced financial and defense industries, boosting the economy of the country as well as giving back to their communities.

Atidim's CEO was Tal Dilian for five years. The model of diversity used for the management of Atidim has led to an economic revolution and healthy communities.

Daroma Tzafona is a way to extend the reach of Atidim.

Around the same time when Tal Dilian stepped down as CEO of Atidim, he also founded the non-profit group Daroma together with Haim Blumenblatt Nir Gilad, as well as Eitan Wertheimer.

Atidim was governed on the foundation of diversity. It had visions of growth and prosperity, healthy communities and a strategy that promoted inclusion. The Senior Director for Strategic Regional Development was the product of the many years of expertise and knowledge Dilian has accumulated. The focus is on the development of southern Israel specifically the Negev.

In 2005, the Israeli government approved 17 billion NIS (5 billion USD) 10-year plan for the development of the Negev region, which was mostly an area of desert.

While 60 percent of Israel's territory lies in the Negev however only 8% of Israel's population lived there prior to Daroma's establishment,

Tal Dilian and the three cofounders were determined not just encourage people to relocate to the region, but to lure government agencies and companies to it.

DaromaTzafona is now known as DaromaTzafona to reflect the current focus of Israel's northern Galilee.

The organization is experiencing an annual rate of growth in excess of 6percent. Tal Dilian Intelexa has also employed thousands of additional people in the region.

The importance of quality education to help communities thrive is an important consideration when looking for ways that they can return to their feet.

Tal Dilian's journey to higher education is a story of dedication and gratitude. Tal didn't lose sight of where he was from or the importance of his education.

He credits his success in business and entrepreneurship to a well-rounded youth.

He was able persevere through his outstanding service in military, higher education, and later in biomedical and cyber-related intelligence.

He also gave back to the society by founding non-profit groups that offered higher education and high-tech industries. Atidim and Daroma Tzafona focused on the social and economic mobility of the underprivileged youths from the South and North of Israel.

Education is crucial. It is not overstated. As Tal Dilian has demonstrated that the experience of a single person can have an enormous influence on the lives of other people regardless of whether they're in the same community or across the state.
