Young women who did not have children were considered cursed by the gods.
At 3, a boy would taste his first wine at the festival of Dionysus.
Paidagogos were special slaves that took a boy to and form school.
Thesmophoria an event that newly weds took part in, it honored Demeter and her daughter, Persephone.
Meals usually included: bread, wine, and olive oil (or olives).
Today, Greeks (in Greece) consume the most olives than any other ethnicity,
Religious dances were called Apollonian, named after the god of music (and other things.)
Some energetic dancing was called Dionysian, in honor of the wine god Dionysus.
