If you quit smoking only to switch to vaping you're just trading one addiction for another.
There are no rules. If you quit cigarettes then you are cigarette free. Vaping a whole other addiction.
Vaping is worse than cigarettes
Nicotine is nicotine & habit is habit. But having said that, if it helps you ween, why not? The goal is to stop but if you'd otherwise not stop, you're better off vaping so long as you don't get too hooked on it. Good luck 🙂
Vaping will make it much harder to quit in my experience. You can vape nearly anywhere, so your intake of nicotine is much more than if you were smoking cigarettes. Just be smart with how you plan on using the vape to quit. Don't let yourself go willy nilly on it like I did lol
Vape is not smoke it's steam!! Yes it's a big difference you do not inhale vape whereas you inhaled cigarettes. Now this is how I look at it if you're using patches or gum for quitting you're still intaking nicotine and who knows what else. So if you vape and it is the nicotine vape how is that any different than the gum or patches? Also if you're smoking weed you're Still damaging your lungs after all you inhale the smoke to get the high so, to me its really no difference in that and smoking . But like I said vape is steam big difference please research it . I am 29 days in and now I'm to 0mg vape and doing very well no cravings etc. You make your own decision on which way works for you on quitting.
